Applying for Leon Valley Boards, Commissions and Committees
Before You Begin . . .
- A separate application is required for each Board, Commission or Committee
- Applications must be updated every twelve months to remain active
All information submitted in an application for appointment to any Board, Commission or Committee is subject to being disclosed in response to a public records request made pursuant to State law. Limited summary information, consisting of an applicant’s name, application date, zip code, and brief notes on qualifications may be made public on the City’s website. Please call the City Secretary 684-1391 x216 regarding questions or concerns about the disclosure of specific information.
Choice of Board, Commission or Committee
The City Council encourages all citizens to become involved in their local government by serving on one of 11 Boards, Commissions and Committees. Each entity has special roles, duties, and requirements and some have specific qualifications for members.
