Cade Cove Water and Sewer Main Replacement Project

The City has started construction on Cades Cove, Cades Cove Circle, and Mill Wheel streets (near the Post Office), to install new water and sewer mains. This neighborhood, and the infrastructure to support it, was developed in 1977 as the Old Mill Unit #3 subdivision, which means that water and sewer mains in this area are 41 years old and have been experiencing main breaks. The project is partially grant funded from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program from Bexar County. The entire project is expected to last 90 days, but the contractor will assure that the roadway is open to residents that live on that street.
