Community Relations

Community Relations serves as the City's communication department, handling media relations, promotions, publicity, education, publications, marketing, and special events for the city. Main functions include producing community publications, maintaining the content on the City's website, managing social media, and coordinating special events. The department produces several community publications including: ENews, Lions Roar, and promotional materials for various City Departments and related agencies. The Community Relations Department also coordinates special events for the City, including the annual Fourth of July Celebration, Christmas Tree Lighting, Jazz Music Fest, and assists with all City Department events.
