On January 15, 2008, City Council voted to approve Resolution # 08-001 supporting the following strategic goals for the City of Leon Valley:

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEON VALLEY TO ADOPT THE FY 2008 STRATEGIC PLAN WITH ITS GOALS AND OBJECTIVES.

WHEREAS, the Leon Valley City Council has heard from its citizens and has discussed its goals for the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEON VALLEY, TEXAS, THAT IT ADOPTS THE FOLLOWING:

• Goal #1 - “Economic Development”
• Goal #2 - “Safety and Security”
• Goal #3 - “Transportation"
• Goal #4 - “Infrastructure/Capital Plan”
• Goal #5 - “Environmental Sustainability”
• Goal #6 - “Citizen Involvement”
• Goal #7 - “Parks, Recreational Green Space and Cultural Opportunities”
