Basura Bash River & Waterway Cleanup - RESCHEDULED
February 22, 2025 March 8
Basura Bash is a one day, all volunteer event to clean the San Antonio watershed. Since 1995, volunteers have helped clean the local waterways. We are excited to have you join us for the 28th Annual Basura Bash Waterways Cleanup, as this event is 100% powered by volunteers and sponsors.
The Zarzamora Creek in Leon Valley has been participating for over 13 years. There are a total of 25 tributaries participating this year. Last year’s event was a big success, with a total of 23 tons of trash, 2 tons of metals, and 7 tons of tires removed from San Antonio’s watershed. A total of 1,573 volunteers participated city-wide.
