TXDot Public Meeting: SH 16 (Bandera Road) Project

Join us to learn more about the proposed improvements to SH 16 (Bandera Road) from I-410 to Loop 1604. Your input is vital in shaping this project aimed at improving mobility, safety, and community connectivity, while reducing congestion and enhancing multimodal transportation options.

Meeting Highlights:

Improving 6.5 miles of SH 16 to enhance mobility, safety, and community connectivity.

Adding shared-use paths for bicyclists and pedestrians.

Expanding the existing 4–6 lane divided roadways to an 8-lane parkway with signalized restricted crossing U-turn (RCUT) intersections.

Additional right-of-way will be required, and nine non-residential structures may be impacted. TxDOT is offering relocation assistance where needed.
