Blood Pressure Check

Citizens can have their blood pressure checked at no cost at the fire station between 8 am and 5 pm any day. However, a service fee shall be applied if the citizen requests examination, treatment or transport by EMS."

File of Life

Citizens are urged to get a "File of Life" Emergency Information Refrigerator Card for their home. The card is filled out by the citizen, and contains important medical and contact information that the EMS staff needs to know during an emergency, such as medical history, allergies and medications. The information is kept on or in the refrigerator for easy access by EMS crews. The File of Life cards are available at the fire station at no cost, as well as City Hall and the Library.
