Project Description

The purpose of a 2024 Parks and Recreation Plan Update (Plan Update) is to successfully position Leon Valley to meet the needs of current and future residents by improving the current parks and recreation assets and identifying future opportunities. 

The process is citizen-driven with public meetings, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and the Parks Board serving as the advisory committee to ensure that the plan reflects the desire and vision of all the citizens.

A number of methods have been included in the process to gather your input and provide regular updates. These include:
